Configuring the Stripe to Xero Mapping

Once both Stripe and Xero are connected you need to let SubSync know how you want your invoices mapped between the systems.

  1. On the main SubSync page select the settings cog on the left hand side

  2. Find the Stripe Account you want to work with and select your Xero account from the drop down

  3. As a minimum you will need to configure:

    1. Settings

    2. Account/Product Mapping

    3. Tax Settings

  4. There are also optional settings for:

    1. Tracking Categories

    2. Stripe Fees

    3. Credit Notes

    4. Customer Balance

    5. Discounts

    6. Revenue Recognition

Tip: SubSync supports multiple Stripe Accounts being mapped to a single Xero account, or multiple Stripe Accounts being mapped to multiple Xero Accounts. You can also have multiple SubSync Accounts if you would like to have separation between client accounts.

Settings

Firstly, select a 0.00% Xero tax rate - this is what SubSync will use if it encounters any invoice line items when Stripe does not include any tax information.

You can also choose to exclude $0 invoices from being created in Xero.
